1. Preamble
1.1 Scope of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
These general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter referred to as "GTC") apply to any purchase made remotely on the website https://matuvu-collection.com (hereinafter referred to as "the Site"). The GTC apply concurrently with the Privacy Policy applicable to any user of the Site.
The site matuvu-collection.com is managed by Pygmalion SCS:

1.2 Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
The GTC apply to any purchase of Products made remotely from Matuvu to the exclusion of any other terms of sale. The applicable GTC are those in force on the date of the order. The GTC can be consulted, printed, and downloaded from all pages of the Site.
The Client undertakes to read the GTC carefully before any order and accepts the GTC by clicking on the order validation button.
Pygmalion may modify the GTC at any time. In the event of a change, the GTC in force on the date of the order will apply.
1.3 Conclusion of the Contract
The sales contract between Pygmalion and the Client for each purchase of Product(s) will be concluded as soon as the Client clicks on the "Confirm and Pay" button after having been able to correct their shopping cart.
2. Products
The Client can, prior to placing an order, take note of the characteristics of the Products they wish to order. The Client must refer to the description present on each Product sheet to know the essential characteristics. Pygmalion takes the utmost care in presenting and describing the Products within the limits of technology.
Photographs may differ slightly from reality depending on the configurations of the electronic devices used by the Client. Consequently, photographs have no contractual value. Only Products that can be added to the Cart are available for sale. In case of out of stock or unavailability of a Product, this is specified on the product sheet.
3. Orders on the Site
Creating a Client Account
To place an order on the Site, the Client must first create a client account by filling out the registration form provided for this purpose. When creating the Account, the Client chooses an identifier and an associated password. The identifier and password are strictly personal and confidential.
Order Steps
The offers and prices displayed on the Site are valid as long as they remain visible on the Site, within the limits of available Product stocks. The Client must carefully check all the information provided in the order form before confirming it. Matuvu cannot be held responsible for errors regarding the information provided by the Client in the order form.
The ordering process on the Site is carried out in the following steps:
- The Client selects the Products and quantities desired on the Site.
- The Client validates their cart by clicking on "Continue my order".
- The Client takes note of the amount of delivery charges applicable to each type of delivery before making their choice.
- The Client's order is finalized as soon as the payment procedure is completed, and the Client reaches the page on the Site indicating "Thank you for your order at Matuvu".
Upon receipt of this order, Matuvu performs preliminary checks to validate the order, particularly the effectiveness of the payment of the ordered quantities. The order and payment thus verified will be followed by a confirmation email, recalling the content of the order.
4. Prices and Payment Methods
Prices are expressed in euros and include the applicable VAT in France. Prices indicated on the Product sheets of the Site do not include delivery charges. The Client is informed of the delivery charges applicable to their order before final validation of their order and payment of the price.
Accepted Payment Methods
- Payment by credit card: Accepted cards are Carte Bleue, MasterCard, and Visa.
- Payment by PayPal: The Client who wishes to pay for their order with their PayPal account will be redirected to the PayPal platform to identify themselves and proceed with payment.
- Payment by bank transfer: Reserved for companies with a VAT number.
5. Availability and Delivery
The Client is informed by Matuvu of the availability of the Products and delivery times during the order process. If the ordered Products are no longer available, Matuvu will inform the Client by email or phone as soon as possible.
Matuvu undertakes to send the ordered Product in the exact condition it was described during the sale and confirmed in the order. The amount of delivery charges depends on the weight, geographical area, volume, and value of the product. The delivery dates mentioned on the Site are indicative only.
6. Receipt of the Parcel
The Client must imperatively check the parcel in the presence of the carrier. If the parcel has been damaged or opened, or if the Product packaging is damaged, the Client must refuse it and note explicit reservations on the delivery note. The Client must also report anomalies to Matuvu by phone or via the contact form.
7. Retention of Ownership
The Products remain the property of Matuvu until the Client signs the carrier's delivery note, once the Client has paid the full price and Matuvu has verified the effectiveness of the payment.
8. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with the Consumer Code, the Client has a period of fourteen (14) days to exercise their right of withdrawal from the receipt of the goods. The Product must be returned in its original packaging, in perfect condition, suitable for resale, unused, and with all its accessories. Return costs are the responsibility of the Client.
9. Order Cancellation after Shipment
The Client cannot request the cancellation of their order if the goods have been taken over by the carrier. The Client must use their right of withdrawal upon delivery.
10. Legal Guarantees
In the event of an apparent defect or non-conformity of the delivered Product, the Client must contact Matuvu by email within a maximum of 7 working days from the receipt of the delivery. The legal guarantee as provided by articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code is fully applicable.
11. Force Majeure
Matuvu cannot be held responsible if the execution or delay in the execution of one of its obligations is due to an event constituting a case of force majeure as defined by the Civil Code.
12. Intellectual Property
The presentation and content of the present Site together constitute a work protected by the laws in force on intellectual property, of which Matuvu is the holder.
13. Copyright
The texts, images, drawings, and layout, as well as the graphic charter of the Site, are protected by intellectual property law. It is forbidden to copy, extract, distribute, or modify the content of the Site for commercial purposes without Matuvu's prior written authorization.
14. Databases
The databases established by Matuvu are protected by copyright and by the Intellectual Property Code relating to the legal protection of databases. Any reproduction, representation, adaptation, translation, and/or partial or total modification is prohibited without Matuvu's written authorization.
15. Personal Data
Personal data collected may be subject to computer processing. The terms of processing these data are available in the Site's "Data Protection" Policy.
16. Disputes
The French version of the GTC will prevail over any other version translated into another language. In case of a dispute, the Client must first contact Matuvu to find an amicable solution. Failing an amicable resolution, the dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the French courts according to the rules of common law. By placing an order, the Client expressly acknowledges that only Matuvu's terms and conditions apply.
